                                                                            Minutes of Sho-Me Band Booster Meeting
                                                                                                August 8, 2008



August meeting was held during the Annual Ice Cream Social & booster sign up/information meeting.

Mr. Winters began the meeting by giving a presentation regarding being in the Sho-Me Band.  He also informed the new parents what
the band fee pays for including a t-shirt, drill and music.  All freshman need to purchase band shoes for $20.00.  Mr. Winters explained
that all the forms are on the Sho-Me Band website.  Students need to arrive at the stadium for evening football games at 5:30 and are
expected to stay for the entire game.

President Richard Barton encouraged the parents to fill out a sign up sheet to become a part of the boosters and explained that we
need to be doing fundraisers for the upcoming trip in 2010.  The last trip the band took cost $61,000.00.  Richard explained some of the
duties of the boosters in supporting the band.

Richard Barton informed the group that a tour bus could be chartered for the Cardinal game September 25th.  A sign up sheet was
presented.

Water and Sodas were collected.  These are being stored at Wayne & Jeanie Irvin’s residence until it is needed for the festivals.

Ice cream and brownies were served.
