| JAZZ BANDS STUDIO BAND This jazz band meets during the regularly scheduled class day (7th hour). The goal of this band is to play challenging jazz pieces in all styles: swing, bop, ballads, latin, funk, and rock. This class is held second semester. Studio band participates in festivals and plays on concerts with the concert bands. JAZZ COMBOS All band students are invited to participate in jazz combos. These combos will focus on improvisation and will meet after school during the spring semester. Rehearsal schedule will depend on student’s schedules. |
