Meeting was called to order by President, Richard Barton.
SECRETARY REPORT
Secretary report was presented by Tammy Bostic. Motion to accept was made by Steve Mayo, Jeanna Kayser 2nd, motion carried.
TREASURER REPORT
Treasurer report was given by Jeanna Kayser. Carla Cross made a motion to accept, Steve Mayo 2nd, motion carried.
BAND DIRECTOR'S REPORT
The State Band Festival was held at Three Rivers Community College on Saturday, March 29th. Wind Ensemble received a one rating
and Concert Band received a two rating.
.
There are approximately 14 students that will .be performing at state either individual or in a group.
Two Percussion Ensemble groups will be performing Thursday, April 17th at Arkansas State University. They will then watch the
College Ensemble perform.
Jazz Bands will be performing at the Ozark Mountain Band Festival on Friday, April 18th at College of the Ozarks.
Jeanna Kayser made a motion to accept, Corey Emerson 2nd, motion carried.
FUND RAISER REPORT
Fund raiser report was given by Carla Cross.
Students will begin selling candles on Monday, April 14th.
Raffle tickets will be sold to raffle a Briggs & Stratton Engine. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Spring Concert, May 1st instead of
the Band Banquet as previously reported.
Car wash is tentatively scheduled for May 10th from 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce. Jeanna Kayser made a motion to
accept, Mr. Winters 2nd, motion carried.
OLDBUISNESS
Band Banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at the 5th and 6th Grade Center beginning at 6:00 p.m.
NEW BUSINESS
It was discussed to combine the General Account and the Band Fee account. Carla Cross made a motion to accept, Jeanna Kayser
2nd, motion carried.
The band will be taking a trip in two years, it was discussed opening up a Money Market Account for funds raised toward this trip. Mr.
Winters made a motion to accept, Corey Emerson 2nd, motion carried.
Carla Cross made a motion to adjourn, Mr. Winters 2nd. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the band
room.
