Minutes of Sho-Me Band Booster Meeting
November 19, 2009
Meeting was called to order by President Jeanna Kayser. SECRETARY REPORT
Secretary's report for October was presented by Tammy Bostic. Mr. Winters made a motion to accept, Susan Reindl 2nd ,
motion carried.
TREASURER REPORT
Treasurer report was given by Susan Reindl. An overview of the general account was presented. The band received a check
for $1,000 from the AMVETS post 29; this will go into the uniform account. Kroger's and Wal-Mart gave the band a gift card for
$25.00 each, this went towards purchasing food for the bonfire.
Susan continues to send out invoices regarding the student's trip account.
Tammy Bostic made a motion to accept, Sue Gann 2nd, motion carried.
FUNDRAISER REPORT
Justin Stanton reported on the fundraising in the absence of Kara Stanton.
Candles were sold in October with a profit of $408.00 and the fruit sales profited $406.87.
The students will begin selling Boston Butts November 16th, will need to keep track of tickets sold.
Several fundraising ideas were mentioned for the New Year including a spring raffle, Spaghetti Dinner, and boosters working
at Marble Slab Creamery.
Tammy Bostic made a motion to accept, Mr. Winters 2nd, motion carried.
BAND DIRECTORS REPORT
Mr. Winters thanked the boosters for helping out during the Marching Season in coordinating everything. He expressed that it
was a wonderful season.
The Christmas Parade is December 4th; uniforms will be turned in after the parade so they can be cleaned before the Disney
Trip. There needs to be approximately six boosters to help with this.
The students will be asked to bring a bag of candy that can be thrown out to the spectators.
Mr. Stanton will be in charge of the parade and Mr. Winters will be going with some of the students to the All Sate Band
Auditions.
The Christmas Concert is scheduled for December 10th. It was decided to increase the Adult Admission to $2.00, students
$1.00 and children 5 and under free.

OLD BUSINESS
The meeting with the school board will be scheduled at a later date.
Susan Reindl made a motion to accept, Jeanna Kayser 2nd, motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Winters would like to purchase a new Parade Banner; estimated cost would be between $645.00 - $700.00.
The band will be playing at the basketball game on December 18th in Memphis. The itinerary will be given out at a later date.
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students. The band will go down on their own bus.
Mr. Stanton will check with the fruit company to get an estimated time and date when the fruit will be delivered.
There will not be a meeting in December.
