Band Booster Committees and Descriptions
                                                                      Uniform Committee

Uniform Committee – the main purpose of this committee is to organize, hand out, and repair band uniforms during the
marching band season.  Duties will include handing out uniforms during band camp, helping maintain uniforms by sewing
on buttons, etc., and helping collect uniforms after the Christmas parade.
                                                    Sewing Committee

Sewing Committee – if you have experience sewing we need your help with color guard flags, hemming pants, etc.  By
having volunteers do the sewing, the band saves a lot of money.
                                                    Equipment Committee

Equipment Committee – the committee is in charge repairing and maintaining band equipment throughout the school
year.  Anyone handy with tools is welcome!
                                                    Pit and Towing Crew

Pit and Towing Crew – At each home football game and away festival, the band needs help with percussion equipment
being towed to the event and help getting the instruments onto the field.  Anyone who has a truck and a hitch or is willing to
help push percussion equipment is welcome in this committee.
                                                    Food Committee

Food Committee – the purpose of this committee is to seek food donations, help prepare food at festivals, and plan menus
for meals.

                                                   Fundraising Committee

Fundraising Committee – this group will help plan and implement fundraisers.  We ask that each family sign up for one
fundraiser that they are willing to help with.  By spreading around the responsibilities, fundraisers will be more efficient and
successful.
