Meeting was called to order by President, Richard Barton.

SECRETARY REPORT
Secretary report was presented by Tammy Bostic. Motion to accept was made by Leslie Kidwell, Mr. Winters 2nd, motion carried.

TREASURER REPORT
Treasurer report was given by Tammy Bostic, in Jeanna Kayser's absence.  Mr. Winters has a shoe bill that needs to be paid.
A check for $150.00 needs to be sent to enter the contest in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Jennie Irivn made a motion to accept, Steve Mayo 2nd, motion carried.

BAND DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Mr. Winters reported that marching season was going on. He cancelled the Farmington Competition; he felt the band was not prepared.
The band will perform at the Mid South Classic at 4:35 p.m. in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 4th.  It was decided that the band would not perform at
O'Fallen on October 18th.  There will be a festival on October 7th in Sikeston. The band will perform between 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.; the festival will be over
around 8:30 p.m.  The band will perform in Potosi on October 11th and at Greater St. Louis on October 25th. They are scheduled to perform in Greater St.
Louis at 1:45 p.m.  The Color Guards are raising money by selling items from Little Caesar's. They will turn in their orders on Friday, September 26th.
They will make a profit of $5.00 for each item sold, their goal is to sell 50 items each. This will go towards their uniforms and flags.  Mr. Winters introduced
Justin Stanton, Assistant Band Director. Tammy Bostic made a motion to accept, Leslie Kidwell 2nd, motion carried.

FUND RAISER REPORT

Mr. Winters has met with a salesman with the Indian River Grove Fruit company. This fruit is picked and shipped overnight from Florida. The students will
begin selling fruit mid October. Mr. Winters requested that a portion of the fruit sales go towards the students account for the trip in 2010.
The Calendar ads are not selling; this has been put on hold.  It was discussed to organize a Fund Raiser Committee. Tammy Bostic will be contacting
boosters to see if they are interested in helping with this committee.  The boosters will sale Band Cards at the football game on September 26th. Richard
Barton will contact Coach Brown for approval. A table will be set up at the North entrance. The Color Guards will sell cards in the stand through first
quarter. What they sale will go towards their uniforms.  Richard Barton discussed having Hat Day and Dress Down Days in the schools. Leslie Kidwell
will check with the 5th and 6th grade center.

NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Winters discussed taking the Percussion Equipment to the upcoming trip to the Cardinal game. A truck would have to be rented or pay the gas for
someone to pull the trailer. Wayne Irvin said he could pull the trailer; Mr. Winters made a motion to reimburse for gas, Leslie Kidwell 2nd.
A truck will need to be rented for three competitions. Mr. Winters has received a couple of quotes for new band uniforms from Stan Berry Uniform. They will
be making a sample to send to see what they would look like.  The pit trailers are in bad shape to take to the competitions. Wayne Irvin is going to repair
his trailer so he can take his mule to pull the pit trailers.  Mr. Winters needs to be reimbursed approximately $180.00 for random items that were
purchased including a siren. Mr. Winters made a motion to adjourn, Mr. Stanton 2nd. Next meeting will be October 9th at 6:30 p.m.
